To fully transform the Speelhuislaan in Breda to a meeting point for the inhabitants, the municipality asked for a new design for benches along the former tramline. The branch-like, skeletal design refers to the Belcrumbos, that used to be the old hunting grounds of the sons of Willem van Oranje. The 10 meter long benches emphasize the scale of the long street.

The bronze supports were produced by working directly in the casting sand, carving out the shape by hand and therefore giving room for unexpected shapes. The supports were then patinated, giving them a warm, deep black color.
